O. Henry Library
Well, I'm entering a new world.
My goal for this site is to create a blog or online community for O. Henry library students. I want students to be able to post thoughts and opinions about books in order to create a reading community in cyberspace.
So, let's go.
Book Review Tips:
Include title and author:
Your name as reviewer:
Give a very brief description of what the book is about. Don't tell the end!
Whether you give it a thumbs up, down, or sideways.
Why? This is the evaluation part.

Twilight by Stephanie Meyer was an amazing book. Between the suspsense, drama, and mystery, i could not put it down! i recommend it to anyone who loves fantasy with a touch of mystery.

I saw Stephenie Meyer at the Texas Book Festival this weekend. She looks just as I imagined Bella. She talks fast, and she got her entire inspiration for the book from a single, very vivid dream.
Ms. Stevenson
Looking For Alaska by John Green is a great read for anyone who is looking for an entertaining, suspense-filled book. The author is a man, you would think the story would be intense and boyish, when a woman's story is soft and sweet, all the while you never would know the author is a man. I definitely would recommend this story to anyone looking for a great book to read, for any time, whether you're on the road or sitting in a class.

Ok one of the best books I've read so far is the Amber Spygalss by Philip Pullman.
It's filled with suspense and also heartbreak, making it a good read for both guys and gals. The Amber Spyglass is the 3rd in a trilogy and one of the best I've read so far. The first two are: The Golden Compass and The Subtle Knife.
-Patrick Balaguer
i really love the book The Earth, My Butt, and Other Big Round Things by Carolyn Mackler. This book is a big perspective on how teenage girls are at the age of 13-16 and how they act. it has funny thoughts about how the girl feels and her problems with her boyfriend. Viktoire Paz & Marie Trevino (recommended for 8th graders)
